I’m May, Owner, Stylist and Baker behind Chocolata. The creative force behind custom sweet tables for all your events. I’m a native Montrealer, a mom of 3 and an avid sweets lover.

It was 8 years ago while on maternity leave that I decided to start this little business of mine. Little did I know it would grow into what it is today.

I do a lot of collaborations with different vendors that are local to me like balloons and cake toppers and stuff like that. I love to support other local businesses.

I'm Arab and my husband's Filipino so my kids are a mix and they get asked all the time "What are you?" So we've had to have the conversation with them about diversity and inclusion. These are things that are very important to me in my business and in my life.
3 things I love to do with my kids

We go to the mall and shop together

We watch scary movies together, although, for me, It's not that scary.

I'm actually a Reiki practitioner. So I have a master's in Reiki.
